Rainforest Art Foundation is excited to announce our FIRST Shreveport Earth Day Celebration! Join us for festival-style fun at the Marlene Yu Museum. There will be an array of activities, vendors, and performers. The cost of admission is FREE w/ a $10 suggested donation per family.

-Kids activities including outdoor mud painting, educational coloring activities, and a "trash" collage

-Live music from Twang Darkly

-Presentation @ 5:30 from Bayou To Bay

-Painting/Singing performance @ 6:00 from Vela Nora

-Interactive Tai Chi and Qi Gong performance by Janis Gabriel for ALL AGES!

-Group bike ride to the event and info booth with Bike Shreveport starting at Colombia Park around 6-6:30 (Like their page for announcement of official time)

-Info booths from local green groups including Green Logistics and more TBA

-Food for sale by Ki' Mexico, Blue Southern Comfort Foods, Charlie Cakeballs, Drake Catering, and Simple Cotton Candy

Additionally, this is the final day for our Matching Grant and Panda Challenges. Bring cell phones, ipods, and tablets with some extra cash to donate to both! Help the Rainforest Art Foundation continue to grow in it's first year in Shreveport.
